Gospel Light is an independent Baptist church located in Comfort, NC. We are a body of born again believers who stand on the word of God in all matters of faith and practice. God's plan for the New Testament church is to reach the lost with the message of the Gospel and building up the saved through discipleship in the Word of God. Our purpose is to follow God's plan. Gospel Light is made up of friendly people who are enjoying being apart of God's work. Look around our website as we open the doors of Gospel Light Church to you. Eternal Life
To have peace with God and the assurance of Heaven, you must have Eternal Life!
We have not obeyed
all of God's commandments:
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"
(Romans 3:10) "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23)
If we die in our sins, we
will spend eternity in hell!
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
(Revelation 20:15)
The GOOD NEWS is
The Lord Jesus Christ has paid the full penalty for our sin. God has made a way for man to be reconciled to Him. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
Jesus shed His precious blood for our sins, God will free us from the penalty, the guilt, and the power of sin, if you only "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..." (Acts 16:31) "...the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
My friend, if you reject God's gift of eternal life, not only will you remain separated from God now, but also when you die without Christ, you will be eternally separated from God. Please don't wait until it is too late.
