About Gospel Light

On Sunday, January 13, 2002, God brought a group of people together with a desire to serve the Lord in Jones County. It is from this first meeting in a daycare facility that Gospel Light Church was founded. In the first months of the ministry souls were saved and God provided. In April, 2002 a ground breaking ceremony was held and a new building was started. The work went quickly as the members of the church gave God their best. On August 4, 2002, Gospel Light Church opened the doors on their facility.

Over the years God has worked in so many ways. He has blessed Gospel Light every step of our way. Our goal is to “Shine God’s Light” of salvation to our community and beyond.

We thank God for the privilege He has given us to carry out His work here in Jones County. We look forward to what God has planned in the future as we follow His guidance.
